Under Section 1 of the Mail Oversight Act Ministry of Mail and Counter Terrorism Policing reserve the right to access record and log all mail sent to and from its nation to maintain safety and Security. This is also backed by Regulation 16 of the National Terrorism Prevention Act.
Official Persons Protection Act
Official Persons Protection Act
Regulation 3 of the Official Persons Protection Act states that all mail sent to government officials are to be viewed, logged and recorded to prevent and detect any violations of the National Terrorism Prevention Act and other Criminal law.
Under the same act in Regulation 5 any person that sends a threating letter to a person protected under the Official Persons Protection Act shall face criminal charges as backed by the National Terrorism Prevention Act.
